Beauty Within
Beauty comes from the inside. I know it's been said many times, but I believe it's the truth. Something I've learned and will continue to encourage others to do is take time for yourself. When you look good, you feel good. When you feel good, you are a better person and parent. And when you can, surround yourself with people who bring you joy. When I'm with my girlfriends, sisters and cousins, we just say and do ridiculous and silly things. We are Puerto Ricans with a lot of energy, and sometimes it gets loud, but when I'm around them, there's always so much love.

Thank you so much for sharing that. I have always tried to do this, sometimes we all slip and have people in our live because we are stuck in a rut and this is what happens. Right now that is where I am. I went back to school, living at my daughter's and her aunts and it is not always full of joy. I read what you say and really try to live it and I am looking for a job, but it is so hard to find a good job at my age. I meditate, I write my thoughts, and I walk. I thank you again for reminding me that there are good times out there.

Been a fan of yours since I saw you in Selena! Not only are you famous, beautiful and a fashion icon, but you appear to be so normal.
