EXCLUSIVE: Watch My Pre-Show Prayer Circle
Here’s a sneak peek at a pre-show ritual my dancers and I have. It was right before our very first show on my tour, On June 14 in Panama. After weeks of rehearsal we couldn’t wait to get onstage!
Being a great performer is about being in control. As performers, it's not just about bringing the energy, it's also not letting adrenaline get the best of you. Our prayer circle is when my dancers and I gather our focus one last time before we hit the stage.
How do you get focused before a big challenge or performance?

Before a performance I pray and I know to have fun, then the audience will have fun! I think what would Jennifer Lopez do? You have taught me so much about performance.

As an actress I never take the stage without the Most High. Mother/Father/Goddess gave me the talent to share and uplift. It also gets me centered. I appreciate you Jennifer, you are one of a kind in a good way. Keep up the good work, Mama.

It is fantastic.
I read Matthew 27:24-54 in the New Testament
before a big challenge. It is a story about
crucifixion.
It takes 5 minutes. I can see someone who was in
very big trouble, so my challenge
seems not so big anymore. After that I pray.
