A Belated Birthday Wish From a Fan
There were a flood of birthday wishes yesterday, but there's one in particular we wanted to share. It's an open letter from one of Jennifer's dedicated fans. Check it out!
Dear Jennifer,
Happy Birthday to my idol, role model, and inspiration for the last 18 years. You have been such a huge part of my life. I have cried, laughed, lost, learned, and through it all YOU have been there. OK, maybe not in person, but through your music, movies, interviews, experiences and struggles you have helped me keep pushing through in my own life. You are the perfect example that "dreams do come true.” Your persistence and perseverance have made you an international superstar loved by the world. You have done it all — dancing, music, movies, fragrance line, clothing line, producing— but your biggest accomplishment…your coconuts :) You are a remarkable woman that is sexy and stylish and who carries herself with so much class and grace. I have been following your career since the day you were a Fly Girl on "In Living Color" and we both know that was a longgg time ago..hehe! My devotion towards you goes DEEP. I have grown up with you Jen! Everyone that knows me knows that Renee = JLO.
I hope my dream of meeting you comes true, of one day coming face to face with an international superstar and let her know how amazing she really is and how she changed my life. I will NEVER GIVE UP on that dream. I went to both of your shows in Newark and even created a website that is designed to help me MEET YOU!!! Hey Jenny...I know this is another bench mark u have reached and through it all u have made every step an exceptional one.I guarantee that fans all over the world are either making every effort to be at you concert or following your twitter or Facebook page. Whatever measure there are using it all come down to one thing( u're the greatest celebrity). I am all the way in Guyana, South America wishing i could have make it to one of your concerts but i know that day will come when i'll be one of the happiest fans in the crown. I hope someone from JLo team sees this! So I fell in love wit Jlo 1st time I saw her in selena I been following her ever since. I saw her in newark last week sat and I cried! She is so beautiful! I was trying 2 make eye contact with her all night and I fell 3 times! Yesterday I found out I won tix 2 see JLo in atlantic city and I cried! I dunno what seats I have yet but I'm pretty excited! I am dying 2 meet jlo! I play her music allll the time u cud say I'm obsessed! Jlo is so beautiful such an inspiration such a great actress so humble! I want to share my story as a JLover with you. I am 24 years old and i have been following you for many many years, since the beginning. You’re a woman of many talents; one of the strongest, most amazing person I know. You have helped me through a lot in my life and especially these past few months. I have a four year old daughter, the same age as Max and Emme, and almost a year ago I split from her father. You gave me the strength to follow through with it so that I would be happier. Just like you, i’ve always wanted that fairytale ending, and when we split I thought my fairytale was over, until you have proven that fairytales still can come true. You have found love again and I have faith I will as well. Dance Again was a huge part in my life during this time, it has lifted me up and given me hope that I will find that special someone who will be a father to my daughter. Beau has shown me that their are good men out there who are sweet and will step in and be good to your child. You have also pushed me to go for my dreams, even with being a single mom, I am going to University to become a teacher. I am not letting anything get in the way of my dreams for the future of my daughter and I and I have you to thank!!!! SO THANK YOU FOR BEING AMAZING!!!!!!!
I Live in Canada and when the Dance Again Tour Dates came out I had to attend one of the shows, even if i did have to travel!! I am driving 8 hours to Minneapolis next week to see your show and it would be my dream come true if I could meet you!! To meet the worlds most strongest, compassionate woman who has changed my life would be the most amazing thing in this world!! Please help my dream come true!! Jennifer, i cant even put into words how much you have changed my past 2 years. I am 13 years old and you inspire me to try new things, be brave, and stand out. i went to your concert last night but was in the very last row of the td garden. I had so much fun watching you and jumping around. you have also taught me to look at life a different way and see things with a different veiw. Yesterday at the td garden my mom almost ran over casper and i was speechless then of course i started screaming and i mmad him smile as i drove by him. It was amazing and i could only think of what would have happened if i had gotten out of the car and had a chance to meet one of the most beautiful woman in the world. One of my biggest dreams is to meet you and to share how much i cant live without you. Your music spreads so much warmth adn love and so does your voice.
