UNESCO Foundation Charity Gala
As many of you know, my work with the Lopez Family Foundation is very close to my heart. As mothers, my sister Lynda and I recognize the importance of having access to quality health care and the difference it can make for families. Through the foundation, we are committed to providing increased access to resources including clinics, health care education and doctors so that no child is left without.
With UNESCO Special Ambassador, Dr. Ute Ohoven and my sister, Lynda Lopez.
A few days ago the UNESCO Foundation (United Nations Educational Scientific Cultural Organization) honored the Lopez Family Foundation with the Pyramide con Marni award, which is nothing short of remarkable.
The gala in Dussledorf united many supporters of the UNESCO Foundation and programs that work toward building stronger communities to create more opportunities. It is truly an honor to be recognized by an organization who works tirelessly around the world to bring children a better future through aid, various programs and education. I'm so proud of what the foundation has been able to achieve and now with this additional opportunity through the UNESCO Foundation, we will be able to continue to grow and provide for underserved communities.

think it is a mistake if parents, friends, etc. will push children too much. According to me children needs to develop their skillz with freedom. Children need to find out themselves what's dangerous or not. Parents, etc task is to give this children extra support, lessons and education if required. (Too much) pressure could be devestating in the long run. Is you cool with this stuff? -

Congratulations on the award!
Children need basically two things: love, education and care necessary to develop. This will have to give their parents, provided they have sufficient means. If they can not then it is up to governments and NGOs.
Among the 10 things you have to do in my life there are two that I would like to ask you for help:
1st, Meet Jennifer Lopez in person. And the 2nd, creating a nongovernmental organization to help children in Spain.
So if you read this post, I ask you not tell JLO.
That would fulfill one of the two dreams in my life: to know her personally and create an NGO that helps children.

Children need 2 important things:
- parents and friends who always support them en surround them by love.
- education: only with this they can build up their own life: when they have a good education they can find a good job and they can have money and with all of this they can also take care of their children in the future! -
God bless you, Jen. I think we have to start with ourselves. Education is important. We have to understand that children are mankind's future. More important is a family, parents who LOVE their children. Parents must take care of their kids best possible way as they can do. Of course there has to be a balance because chidren could become cissy.
There are so many children who have no home, parents and love. They need someone who is like a lovely parent. They have to feel that they are not alone. -
2 things are very important in a child's life; 1 is LOVE and 2 is EDUCATION. But I want also to say, not only children need Love, we all need Love. Love is for free. We can all work together to give all the children in the world a good education!

All children of the world need love and a good future. Many parents have not enough money to pay for the school and healty food for their children. I think all people of the world must help them with benefits or by sos kinderdoerfer. There are so many organisation, like UNESCO etc.in the world, and it is very nice to help other people and children. Every people can help children to have a good future. Give money for children and not for war.

Children need the good support of both parents really but in some situations many kids don't have that. Many parents need to pay their child support to benefit his/her child(ren) . Children need the support from their teachers . The government does provide much but that is more on the non custodial parent. We don't want to children to turn to drugs and gangs (what they call a family ). Please dads and moms have a better communicating and a close bond with your kids. They should be able to turn to you for you to listen what they have to say and feel comfortable with you in any situation they are in. Divorce is so ugly. I been there and my sons don't care to be with their father and hope he doesn't show up for the visitation. How you are too your kids will have an impact on them when they become teenagers. JLo are you going to do any Christmas toy drive for the children? A smile to see on their faces.

All children need to feel that they are needed, loved. Not always the case. Not all children have parents who can provide them with the future .. Therefore, the foundations are fortunately that can, in a sense, to replace parents, reach into their hearts and do something good for them, so that they are aware that they are needed and that God is and loves them.
