Create a profile and meet new friends
The daily posts on the homepage of JenniferLopez.com are just the beginning. Sign Up for a profile page, upload photos and videos, write notes, and make new friends. Get involved on the site by participating in the Forum. The Forum gives you a place to talk about any topics you would like to know about on JenniferLopez.com. Use that space to interact with other members, ask questions, and become a part of the JenniferLopez.com community.
SIGN UP/LOG IN QUESTIONS
How do I join the Community?
To join the community you will need to register for a profile. There are two ways to register, depending on the type of email address you have.

If you have a YAHOO, GMAIL, MSN or AOL email address:
  1. Click the Sign Up button located in the upper right hand corner of the site.
  2. Enter your email address and click the NEXT button.
  3. You will see an option to login to your personal email address as a way to sign up for an JenniferLopez.com profile. Click the GO NOW button.
  4. A window will appear, allowing you to login to your YAHOO, GMAIL, MSN or AOL email address.
  5. Once you have logged in, the window will disappear and the website will reload, taking you to our registration page.
  6. Fill out your Name, Birthday, and Gender.
  7. Add a profile avatar (this is optional).
  8. Click the Create Account button. On the next page you have to option to connect your social media accounts to your profile.
  9. Click CONNECT for each social media service you would like to connect to your JenniferLopez.com profile. This step is optional. A window will open asking you to log in to your account and authorize JenniferLopez.com to connect to your account. If you do not yet have an account, you will need to visit that social media service's website to register before connecting to your JenniferLopez.com profile.
  10. When you are finished connecting your social media services, click DONE. You now have a profile and are ready to start participating in the Community!

  7. Add a profile avatar (this is optional).
  8. Click the Create Account button. On the next page you have to option to connect your social media accounts to your profile.
  9. Click CONNECT for each social media service you would like to connect to your JenniferLopez.com profile. This step is optional. How do I search for something on the site?
If you are looking for a blog, thread, or certain term on JenniferLopez.com simply go to the Google search box in the upper right hand corner of every page and type in the phrase or keyword you are looking for and click Enter. You will then be directed to another page yielding all of your results.
How do I search for friends on the site?
You must be a registered JenniferLopez.com member to find (and make) friends on the website. To find your friends, go to your profile, click the Friends section. Type the name of the person you are looking for. As you are typing, the site will generate results for you to choose from. Find the one that matches your search and click the name. You will then be directed to that user's profile, where you can add them as a friend.
PROFILE QUESTIONS
How do I add friends?
To add a user as a friend, go to their profile and click the ADD TO FRIENDS button, located in the top right corner of the profile area. Once they have accepted your Friend Request, they will be added to your profile.
How do I connect my Facebook account to my JenniferLopez.com profile?
  1. If you would like to send your JenniferLopez.com profile status updates to Facebook, or share your JenniferLopez.com profile updates on your Facebook page, you need to first create a Facebook account and then connect that account to your profile on JenniferLopez.com. Set up a Facebook account at www.Facebook.com. If you already have a Facebook account, please skip this step.
  2. Log on to JenniferLopez.com go to your profile and click My Account.
  3. Choose the option CONNECTED SERVICES.
  4. Click the CONNECT button next to the Facebook icon, and then follow the connection steps to connect your Facebook account.
How do I connect my Flickr account to my JenniferLopez.com profile?
  1. Log on to JenniferLopez.com go to your profile and click My Account.
  2. Choose the option Connect Services.
  3. Click the CONNECT button next to the Flickr icon, and then follow the connection steps to connect your Flickr account.
How do I connect my Twitter account to my JenniferLopez.com profile?
  1. If you would like to send your JenniferLopez.com profile status updates to Twitter, you need to first create a Twitter account and then connect that account to your profile on JenniferLopez.com. Set up a Twitter account at www.Twitter.com. If you already have a Twitter account, please skip this step.
  2. Log on to JenniferLopez.com go to your profile and click My Account.
  3. Choose the option Connect Services.

How do I connect my YouTube account to my JenniferLopez.com profile?
  1. In order to upload videos to your profile page, you need to first create a YouTube account and then connect that account to your profile on JenniferLopez.com. Set up a YouTube account at www.YouTube.com. If you already have a YouTube account, please skip this step.
  2. Log on to JenniferLopez.com go to your profile and click My Account.
  3. Choose the option CONNECTED SERVICES.
  4. Click the CONNECT button next to the YouTube icon, and then follow the connection steps to connect your YouTube account.
UPLOADING CONTENT
How do I Upload Photos to my profile page?
  1. In the Photos section of your profile click the "New Photo" option.
  2. Enter a name for the album of photos you are creating and then click the SELECT PHOTO button.
  3. Choose how you would like to import the photo, either 'Browse from the Web' or 'Upload From My PC'.
  4. If you chose to 'Browse from the Web', select the image from one of your Connected Services (Facebook, Flickr, Picasa), and then click FINISH. If you selected Upload From My PC, read the info about photo uploading, and then click NEXT. Choose the service you would like to send the photo to (as imported profile photos must live on a Connected Service), and then click SELECT PHOTO. Locate the photo from your computer, and then fill out Photo Title and Description, while the photo is uploaded to your profile. When you are done, click SAVE.
  5. Once the photo/album has been uploaded, you can navigate to each photo and add a caption.
How do I post a Note to my profile page?
  1. In the Notes section of your profile click the Post New Note option. Notes are similar to a private blog, allowing you a place to share your thoughts in post form.
  2. Type in the Title of your note.
  3. Type your Note into the section marked Body.
  4. Click SAVE to save your Note to your profile. Once you have saved your note, you can change the privacy settings. If you click on CHANGE PRIVACY next to your note, you can choose to make your note visible to site members only, or to everyone. If you choose site members only, only users of the site who are logged in will have access to read your Notes. If you choose everyone, your note can be shared with friends who are not members of the site.
How do I import videos to my profile page?
  1. To import videos you must first have connected your YouTube account to your JenniferLopez.com profile. If you have not done this, please refer to the steps above. If your YouTube account is already connected, please skip this step.
  2. In the Videos section of your profile click the "New Video" option.
  3. Choose how you would like to import the video, either 'Browse from the Web' or 'Upload From My PC'.
  4. If you chose to 'Browse from the Web', select the video from one of your video-focused Connected Services (Facebook, YouTube), and then click 'FINISH'. If you selected 'Upload From My PC', read the info about video uploading, and then click 'NEXT'. Choose the service you would like to send the video to (as imported videos must live on a Connected Service), and then click 'SELECT VIDEO'. Locate the video file from your computer, and then fill out Title and Description, while the video is uploadeing. When you are done, click 'SAVE'.
  5. Click the Videos tab and you will now see all imported videos.
How do I share my uploaded content?
For each piece of content that you upload to your profile, you have the option to LIKE that content. Clicking this option will let Jennifer know you have something cool to show her. To share your content on your connected social media services like Facebook and Twitter, you'll need to change the privacy settings for that content so that it is viewable by everyone including people who are not members of JenniferLopez.com. Click on SHARE next to the content that you would like to share, and you will be prompted to confirm your privacy settings if your content is currently only viewable by site members. If you click on CONTINUE, your privacy settings will automatically be updated. You can then add a description to the text box and choose to share on Facebook or Twitter by clicking the checkbox next to each account that would like to share your content on. You can preview by clicking on the PREVIEW button, and click on SHARE to send the content and your message to the selected accounts, or click on EDIT to go back and edit your message.
NOTIFICATIONS
How do I change my email preferences?
  1. From your JenniferLopez.com profile, click on MY ACCOUNT.
  2. Next, click on EMAIL PREFERENCES.
  3. Uncheck any notifications that you do not wish to receive, and leave any notifications that you do want to receive checked.
  4. Once you have finished updating which notifications you would like to receive, click on SAVE at the bottom of the page.
  5. You can also access your Email Preferences from any of the notification emails you receive from the site. To access your email preferences from an email notification, click the UNSUBSCRIBE option at the bottom of the email. This will open your email preferences page. Uncheck any email notifications that you do not wish to receive, and leave any notifications that you want to receive checked. When you are finished, click SAVE at the bottom of the page.
What are the Forum Posting Rules?
  1. The Golden Rule is Golden for a reason. Please be nice.
  2. Conversation and Debate are good, so please engage others instead of shutting them down because they do not agree with you.
  3. Trolling, Hate Speech, Adult Content and Excessive Foul Language will NOT be tolerated. You get one warning; repeated violations will result in immediate deactivation. No Exceptions!
  4. Spam comments/profiles will be immediately removed from the site.
  5. Please do not advertise or link to business websites, as the Forum is not used for that. Personal blogs are OK.
  6. This is a site of positivity. If we see anyone disparaging Jennifer in any way, the comment will be deleted and the user will be immediately removed from the community.
  7. Any user pretending to be Jennifer will be deactivated.
How do I report spam or offensive or abusive content/users?
If you feel a user's discussion post or uploaded content is in violation of the Behavior Policy, you can click the FLAG option to inform a Moderator, who will review the issue.
